What does the app do?
Sketch a song’s structure (intro, verse, chorus…) by gesture, set the tempo by tapping, then play: the click follows the song map, counts you in, speaks your cues and zooms your notes at the bars you marked. Set lists keep a whole show in order.
What does AI do, and what is free?
Attach your own audio file and the app can detect the beat grid and song sections, and separate the recording into stems (vocals, drums, bass, other) that you can mix while you practise. On the free plan the AI analyses 1 whole song a month. Pro analyses the whole song, 30 songs a month, with no ads.
Which file can I use?
Your own mp3, m4a, wav, flac, aac, ogg, aiff, mp4 or mov files up to 150 MB. YouTube songs work too: paste a link, the video opens in the official YouTube player, and you tap along to set the beat yourself (the app does not download or analyse YouTube audio).
How do I upgrade, cancel or restore Pro?
In the app: Settings › Upgrade to Pro. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled; cancel or change plan any time in your Apple ID or Google Play subscriptions. To restore a purchase on a new phone, sign in with the same email and tap Restore purchases on the Pro screen.
Invite friends
Settings › Invite friends shows your code. When a friend enters it and runs AI for the first time, you get 10 full-song AI credits (valid 90 days, up to 5 friends a month).
Why do I see an ad when I open the app?
Only free accounts that used AI this month see one short ad when opening the app, at most once every 2 hours and never while you are playing. Pro has no ads. See our privacy policy for your choices.
Terms of use
Metronome Map 2 is provided by PM Technology (Australia). You may use it for your own music practice and performance. You must have the rights to any audio you upload for analysis; uploaded audio and the results are processed on our servers to produce the analysis and are deleted after 30 days. AI results are estimates and can be wrong — check them before a show. Subscriptions and credits are personal and non-transferable; monthly AI quotas reset every 30 days; on the yearly plan part of the unused quota carries over to the next month. We may change features or prices with notice in the app or store listing. The app is provided “as is”; to the extent permitted by law we are not liable for indirect losses. Australian Consumer Law guarantees still apply. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google.
Subscriptions
Pro is an auto-renewing subscription (monthly or yearly) with a 7-day free trial for new subscribers. Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account when you confirm the purchase, or when the trial ends. The subscription renews automatically at the same price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; you can manage or cancel it in your account settings on the store. Any unused part of a free trial ends when you buy a subscription. Song top-ups are one-time purchases and expire 3 months after purchase.
